Welcome to the Blaauboer Group
In our group, we investigate quantum dynamical processes and transport of quantum information in nanoscale systems. We use analytical and numerical methods to study quantum phenomena in a variety of settings, such as quantum state routing in superconducting-qubit architectures and energy transfer in entangled spin systems.
Our research spans fundamental problems at a relatively high level of abstraction - such as scrambling of quantum information in interacting qubit systems - as well as more application-oriented theoretical problems, including how to optimally implement desired two-qubit gates using a limited set of available interactions.
A more detailed description of our recent research can be found here. A complete list of our publications is available here.
